Sadaqah Jariyah Projects

"When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)" Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim

When you provide a family with the seeds and tools to cultivate their own vegetables to not only feed them but also provide an income, this is known as Sadaqah Jariyah. This type of charity is continuous and its benefits are reaped by both the donor and receiver, even after the person giving it has left this earth.

At International Humanitarian Relief UK, we facilitate many projects like this, from building a well so a whole village has access to clean water for life to providing schools with the books that will empower their youth. Help us to give Sadaqah Jariyah, and allow others the chance to build a better future.

Thirst relief
Focused primarily in the arid region of Sindh, Pakistan. IHRUK established fully functional and long lasting water wells and water pumps, providing life giving water to multiple and otherwise deprived communities amongst other areas of KPK, the northwest frontier areas, Jummu Kashmir, India, and Kashmir areas of Pakistan as well...

IHR's aims are to provide as many water facilities around the globe not just in the areas that we are currently working in. Africa, Afghanisatan, Bangladesh, are the next locations we are looking to build water wells.

Hunger relief
Reaching out to those most deprived across the globe, IHRUK exerted extensive efforts in fighting hunger by providing vital food aid around the world.

Medical aid
Ongoing conflict in Syria has resulted in perhaps the largest humanitarian crisis of modern times, devastating lives and destroying infrastructure. Responding diligently to this critical situation, our staff deliver containers of essential medical aid to places such as syria/gaza/pakistan

Orphan care
This is a key and ongoing sector of care and aid at IHRUK. Children deprived of living parents are the most vulnerable in society. We believe it is our imperative obligation to provide orphaned children essential, continuous support.

Disabled care
Disabled individuals who endure poverty are all too often stigmatised and excluded. Opportunities of earning provisions are very limited, leaving them to beg on the streets for necessities.

Emergency relief
Responding to the natural disaster in the North West of Pakistan, IHRUK distributed one hundred durable tents and blankets, to those displaced in Chitral and surrounding areas.

Seasonal programmes
Included in this continuous yet challenging sector of work are winter survival packs, containing live saving items such as blankets, clothes and food. Celebrating the festival of Eid ul Adha, Muslims share meat within the community. During this time of year IHRUK, very efficiently distributed a large volume of fresh meat to deprived communities in Syria, Palestine, Africa, and Burma. This is an immensely rewarding seasonal project and is eagerly anticipated by poverty ridden communities
